Peer review is an integral part of the publishing process, but there can be some confusion to how it actually works.

This session will explore what authors need to think about before submitting their papers for review, the different types of peer review, who is involved in the process, the types of decisions authors can receive, and how best to respond to increase the likelihood of success.

We will finish the session with a discussion of Open Peer Review and take a look at how it works in practice on our F1000Research platform.
