Behind the scenes with the OED AI Quotations Finder

An AI-powered tool is now available for some Oxford English Dictionary (OED) entries, which can be used to supply more examples of the sense if desired: the OED AI Quotations Finder.

Launching in beta, it works by using an LLM (Large Language Model) to interpret potential quotations from the EarlyPrint corpus and assign them to the corresponding OED sense.
